Birthday Card

The floral pattern on this card reminds me of sherbet! Raspberry, orange, lime, turquoise.  Mmmmm.
I love the gold and glitter on the floral cardstock.

Pot Holders, Vinyl, and Creative Fabrica

There are a lot of fun ideas for personalizing pot holders and oven mitts. Here's my take - a birthday gift for my sister.
You can't tell by the photograph - but I have a lot to learn yet when it comes to vinyl projects!  LOL!  Like remembering to peel off the scrap before using the iron!  Yikes!

A Sleeping Boy - Tired from Trick-or-Treating

Halloween just passed - and my three-year-old grandson celebrated properly - Boo Zoo, Pre-School, pre-begging activities, and trick-or-treating - only to come home and pass out.  So I made this fun layout that will feature him sleeping.  As with the rest of his album, I used Vintage Carnival digital papers from We Are 3.

Vintage Carnival - Happy Halloween

We Are 3 has wonderful digital paper collections that I design with. I particularly enjoy using digital paper collections is because I can create an entire scrapbook with one paper collection without having to worry about running our (or buying too much) before I've completed the album. I just print what I need when I need it.  So here is another page for my oldest grandson's album, using Vintage Carnival.  The photos are of him in his dinosaur Halloween costume - thus Dinomite Kid.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #430

Wow!  It's been weeks since I've had time to enter a challenge.  Challenge #430 at Tuesday Morning Sketches has a nice simple sketch, so here is my card.  I chose Distressed Burlap and Brick Fire Station for my card - both from We Are 3.  The border and matting is from the Spring Letters Collection - although you really can't see the pattern.  The original sketch is above.

For Those Cold Days

Fell in love with a free file from Love SVG - here is what I created.

It's Time to Be Good!

I just love the current fad of a Santa Cam watching our kiddies to make sure they are good...Very unique idea.  Check out my take on the Santa Cam.  I love the accompanying box I made for the Santa Cam ornaments - embellished with paper pine cones and pine needles.

Fall Into Happiness

I love Brick Firestation from We Are 3.  I'm in love with how it provided a background for this mystery-item card for a local swap - the mystery item is the huge watercolored leaf.  The Brick Firestation background is so simple and complex at the same time!

Scary You

Check out this simple layout using Little Star!  I love how the colors let me make a simple layout - with a bang.  The photo will be of my grandson in his skeleton Halloween pjs.  Hop over to We Are 3's Etsy shop to buy the Little Star Collection.

First Day of School - Just a Little Thing

Hello, Everyone!  I'm here today with a super sweet layout featuring Vintage Carnival and Little Things Sentiments - both from We Are 3.
I started my layout with two designs from Vintage Carnival - I used a plain white strip to separate the two to create the background.   I think Vintage Carnival is a fun collection for a boy's scrapbook - fun colors, but yet a masculine touch.

I created all my embellishments digitally.  I created the title myself.  The "I Heart" sayings came from I Heart Bookmarks (My Scrap Chick).  The sentiment is from Little Things Sentiments (We Are 3) on a Lacey Tag from Digi Playground.

Merry Christmas to You

Hello, Everyonoe!  I'm here again with another inspiration for a holiday-themed card.  I used Winter Scenes and paired it with Christmas Magic and In Stitches - both from We Are 3.  I must say I love how the stitched frame turned out.  Living in the desert now, this winter scene brings back memories - makes for such a pretty (and simple) Christmas card.
I love the sparkle We Are 3 added to the Christmas Magic "glitter" paper, so for a little "extra," I added some bling in the middle of the starburst - it looks so pretty.

By Your Side

I created this layout using papers from my stash.

It's Holly Leaf Time!

We Are 3 has created another beautiful image with their Holly Leaf digital image collection.  I love how the holly leaves of different colors blend, so when layered make a dreamy Christmas tree!   Be sure to check out the Facebook Page for more samples of using the Holly Leaf collection to make special Christmas cards...so cool!  For the truck, I used Watercolor Batik.

We Are 3 Textures

Good Morning, Everyone!  Hope your holiday cardmaking is going well!  I'm still trying to figure out how we're already at December!  Wasn't it just yesterday we were celebrating Valentine's Day?  By now all your cards are in the mail...unless you're like I am.  I'm at about 75 down, 50 to go.  At this point, cards will be quickies.  Yet, I saw a card a couple months ago that I just had to try.  Sorry, no instructions - perhaps when I have more time, I'll make another and try to write down instructions.  I'd still like to make this same design with deer and Christmas trees.

For papers I used Textures and Christmas Card Kit from We Are 3.

Snowflake Kisses

I used We Are 3's new Snowflake Kisses sentiment and Nautical digital papers to create this STUNNING ornament.  Just looking at it speaks for itself!  No go run, don't walk, over to We Are 3's Facebook page and start following if you want to be inspired with digital papers.

I used the template Party Crave's Owl Favor Treat Box.  The are so sweet.

Paper Ala Mode Challenge

Hello, Everyone!  I hope everyone is well today.  Today's challenge at The Outlawz is Paper Ala Mode - sponsored by Dr. Digi.  I was especially excited about this challenge - the image I was given is just so fun - Best Seat in the House.  I thought it was just perfect for the "Thanksgiving" theme.  For the papers and paper piecing, I used the digital paper collection Shabby from We Are 3.

Cuddly Puppies

I'm here today with these cute little puppies celebrating Christmas today.  I love We Are 3 images and papers - you can mix and match.  Here I combined the Cuddly Puppies from Winter Scenes, Holly Berries digital paper, and In Stitches - they all look good together.  My design is inspired by this week's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches #428.
